In an open-loop controls system the input is neither measured nor feedback for comparison with the input. Faithfulness of an open-loop control system depends on the accuracy of input calibration.
- The open-loop system is simple to construct and cheap.
- The open-loop system are generally stable.
The operation of open-loop system is affected due to the presence of
non-linearities in its elements.
